New computer, and having fun with speech recognition

Hello, Readers!

As some of you may know, I've gotten a new computer for gaming. Decent little system, 6 gigs of ram, i3 processor, 1 tb hard drive...  I've put Windows 7 Ultimate and PCLinuxOS 64bit on it, and I've been testing some of the features of Win 7 on it.  Currently, my latest 'shiny toy' is the voice recognition/commands tool. From what I can tell, it's a lot like "Dragon Naturally Speaking" -- In theory. I'm not sure if there are any speech recognition type apps out there for Linux or not. If there are, I've not really run into any.  Anyways, seeing as I've been barely using the software, i've found it has a few... 'bugs' in it.   For example, it can't seem to type into a FCKedit box in Firefox, although it does control firefox mostly with ease... Except for when the command "Show Numbers" stops working.

For your amusement, I'm going to dictate the above to you, and paste it below. Enjoy!
